1. Use of the App
Dementia Daily Diary is designed to help individuals and caregivers track daily observations, routines, and health-related information.
You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
2. No Medical Advice
This app is intended for informational and organizational purposes only.
- It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- Always seek advice from a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns
3. User Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of the information you enter
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account (if applicable)
- How you interpret and use the information stored in the app
4. Data Ownership and Control
The primary account holder (such as a caregiver) is considered the owner of the data they enter into the app.
- You control what information is created, stored, and shared
- You are responsible for how and with whom you share information
5. Sharing Information with Other Users
The app allows you to share selected information with other users (such as family members, trusted friends, or caregivers).
By using this feature:
- You choose what information is shared
- Shared data is securely made available within the app
- Shared users are granted view-only access to the information
Shared users:
- Cannot edit, modify, or delete the shared data
- Cannot re-share the information within the app
Shared access does not transfer ownership of the data.
You remain responsible for deciding who you share information with and should only share with individuals you trust.
6. Account Deletion and Data Persistence
You may delete your account at any time.
- Your personal account data will be deleted from our systems
- Any shared access to your data will be removed
If your account is deleted:
- Shared users will no longer have access to your data
- No copies of your data are retained in other user accounts
Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
Some features of the app may require a paid subscription.
- Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play
- Payments are processed by the platform provider, not by us directly
- Subscription pricing and billing terms are displayed at the time of purchase
Refunds and cancellations:
- Subscription cancellations must be handled through your app store account
- Refunds are subject to the policies of Apple or Google and are not controlled by Dementia Daily Diary
8. Future Features and Account Access
We may introduce features that allow you to designate a trusted individual to access or manage your account in certain situations (such as caregiver transition or inactivity).
- Full details and controls will be provided within the app when available
- These features will require your consent and setup
9. Data and Privacy
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
- Your personal data is not sold
- Diary entries are not shared except when you choose to share them
- Anonymous data may be used for research only if you opt in
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the app if:

- The app is used in a harmful, abusive, or unlawful manner
